This live-aboard course on our Beneteau Oceanis 430 will prepare you for chartering a sailboat on your own confidently. Focus will be on afloat skills and ashore skills will be worked on remotely prior to the live-aboard skills.

This course is a live-aboard version of Sail Canada Basic Cruising that will prepare you to sail in moderate wind conditions as a skipper or a crew member. Focus will be on afloat skills and ashore skills will be worked on remotely prior to the live-aboard skills.

Intro to Sailing

This course is an introduction to sailing. It includes a hands-on initiation to sailing focused on basic maneuvers, as well as ashore skills focused on boat terminology.

VHF

The ROC (Restricted Operator’s Certificate) license is a Canadian Federal government-issued card that allows you to operate a marine VHF radio. The ROC certificate is a prerequisite to the Intermediate Cruising certificate
